Andrew Bosi is a New York City based chef, creating modern Italian flavors with focus on artisanal pastas and local ingredients.
At a young age, I knew I wanted to be in the kitchen. I come from a family of craftsmen; the need to make something with my hands is in my blood. There’s a satisfaction in taking something raw and through care and craftsmanship shaping it into something tangible, nourishing, vibrant, shareable. With a few simple ingredients, skills, and time you can shape an experience that is lasting and meaningful.
Italian cuisine is rich in history and tradition. I am inspired by these stories and seek to reimagine our definition of Italian food with a modern, playful spin. Cooking in an Italian style means honoring these traditions, using techniques that do the history of Italian cuisine justice, while not being limited by strict interpretations.
